Guitar Instructors
Moore Brothers Music has nine guitar instructors; Adam, Cameron, Dan, Edward, Kristian, Luke, Mick, Parker, and Suzanne. Our instructors specialize in a variety of styles including classical, flamenco, folk, blues, rock, and jazz.
Age requirements
The minimum age we accept for guitar lessons is 8 years old.
Instrument requirements
Students will need a guitar in good playing condition. If you have any question whether your instrument is in good playing condition, please ask your instructor or Scott and Troy at the front desk to examine your instrument. We can do most minor repairs and adjustments to your instrument.
Please bring your instrument in your case with your books to each lesson.
If you are in need of a guitar or amplifier, we have a wide range for sale and for rent.
Practice requirements
As with all lessons, plan on practicing 30 minutes, 5 or 6 days a week, for each weekly 30 minute private lesson. Your goal each week is to master what you learned in your lesson so you may move on to the next step. With daily practice, you will advance quickly!
