piano Instructors
Moore Brothers Music has five piano instructors; Aaron, Gary, Hans, Pam, and Suzanne. Our instructors specialize in a variety of styles including classical, contemporary, blues, and jazz.
Age requirements
The minimum age we accept for piano lessons is 5 years old.
Instrument requirements
Students will need a piano or keyboard. Acoustic pianos should be kept in good condition and in tune by a professional piano tuner. We recommend Christopher Gross to maintain your acoustic piano. A digital keyboard is sufficient to practice with as long as it has a minimum 61 keys. Weighted keys are preferred though not absolutely necessary to start studying piano. We do recommend investing in a fully weighted keyboard or acoustic piano after the first couple years.
There is no need to carry your piano to your lessons. We have a piano or keyboard in the lesson rooms. Please bring your lesson books to each lesson.

Practice requirements
As with all lessons, plan on practicing 30 minutes, 5 or 6 days a week, for each weekly 30 minute private lesson. Your goal each week is to master what you learned in your lesson so you may move on to the next step. With daily practice, you will advance quickly!
